Do the beds go up and down?
Yes, every hospital care bed raises and lowers down. This makes getting in and out of the bed easier to help prevent falls.
How is the Solo bed suitable for someone with Dementia?
The Solo bed lowers to 4 inches from ground level, providing a safe sleeping height. People with Dementia and other cognitive conditions may be vulnerable and experience bed falls, the lower height reduces the risk of injury and helps keep them safe.
What size bed do I need?
The best bed size for you depends on your preference. Our hospital care beds come in a range of sizes:
- Twin, 3ft/90cm
- Wide Twin, 3ft 6/105cm
- Small double – 4ft/120cm
Our RotoBed Change Dual is a King split size (5ft) designed
to accommodate two people. One side of the bed can be turned into the chair position. Both sides of the bed can be adjusted with back and leg rest adjustments.
What mattress do I need for a hospital home care bed?
Make sure you choose a suitable mattress with a hospital home care bed. Most regular mattresses are not suitable as they are not flexible enough.
All Opera mattresses are suitable for use with our hospital home care beds.
If you want to use your current mattress with a hospital home care bed, contact the supplier to see if it is suitable.
How quickly can I get a bed delivered?
We offer rapid delivery across all states, our fastest shipping option is 1-2 weeks which requires self-assembly.
If you prefer to have your bed assembled by our bed technichans, this can take up to 4 weeks. Please get in touch with our team who can provide more accurate shipping times.
How to you operate a hospital home care bed?
Every feature of a hopsital home care bed is activated with the hand control. This enables you to adjust the beds position, and change the bed height.
There is also a hook on the back of the control where the remote can be clipped onto the side of the bed when it is not in use.
Our remote controls are user friendly and display each feature clearly.
